I run a photo group on Facebook during the Fall and Winter we have photo shoots of the Full Moon Rising over Cleveland. I’m always encouraging members to use TPE to plan their shoots. Today I posted a photo I took last night vs what TPE predicted I would see, needless to say they were impressed with TPE, however when they go to the website to try it out they have no idea where to start and one guy who has used it said at first he couldn’t find where his saved locations were at first since the interface had changed. I told him the developer is always trying to improve TPE and things can change over time and to use the Help section and watch the videos. Maybe a TPE for Beginners guide is needed LOL. Anyway below is my shot taken at 7:50pm at 180mm vs the TPE first person view at the same time set to 180mm. Unfortunately we had low clouds and didn’t see the moon till it was higher in the sky

Hi @ronskinner4435 – great to see the comparison. Thank you for sharing it! Interesting to see the tall office block near the center of the shot under construction in the Google imagery vs completed in your photo. I wonder how often they’ll update (I don’t think they publish or commit to any particular frequency).
Regarding educational materials – I agree, more is needed. I have some thoughts on how to keep things moving ahead, which I’ll share here separately in due course.
