A ton of new things have landed in the v4 preview in the last couple of weeks.
In particular, I wanted to point out the new Celestial Target page that includes a comprehensive, searchable database of celestial targets for astrophotographers, and especially for nightscape, deepscape or astro-landscape folks.
You can get annual visibility calendars for your exact observing location for hundreds of targets at a time in just seconds, with filtering for condition (min alt, moon alt/illumination/separation) and even az/alt window constraints:
A huge thank-you to @whitacre.rick for his help and inspiration in developing this new functionality – there’s a lot more to it, but we’ll start with showing just this for now!
I’ll set up a live-stream in the coming days to go through it in more detail. For now, feel free to drop any questions here.
