Bug in Visual searches saved in Library

HI, I’ve discovered a bug in Visual searches saved in Library.

When I load a saved Visual search, TPE loads correcly the red pin, but does not load the black pin. The black pin remains in the previous position

Hi @s.zanarello

I guess that sounds more like a shot plan than a search – a visual search is a camera position and an az/alt search range for a body/target, plus filter conditions.

I suppose the gray pin could be included in that, but that’s more like a shot plan, I think.

Let me give it some thought. Right now this is as designed, rather than being a bug.

Yes, you are right. The Visual Search is a camera position and an az/alt search range for a body/target, plus filter conditions. I agree with this.

The problem of saving Visual Search without black pin, however, in my opinion is in the moment I check the results of the search, since the search is loaded in Visual search section of 3D, and the 3d screen is wrong, since it show a wrong black pin position.

Now, in order to obtain a correct black pin position in 3D view, I have to put it in the correct position in MAP and then load the saved Visual Search.

To be more clear, now Visual Search works fine, but the visualization of the results in 3D are uncorrect (due to wrong black pin position).

My thought is that: if I search the moments when sun/moon is in a certain position, is because in this position I have a point of interest (for example a mountain top, a lighthouse, a building, …), and so I have to put the black pin in this position.

So, when I do the search and then I save it in Library, why don’t save also the black pin position?
