Can I move the Black pin in 3D mode

I am a pro subscriber. I have been using the sphere functionality with the 3D map. I would like to use the geodetic feature to determine if and when the sun will appear above a certain mountain peak.

PROBLEM.

I can place the black pin on the 2D map however, when I move to the 3D sphere map I find that I have missed the peak and have to move back and forth between these modes while moving the black pin until I hit the peak in question.

QUESTION

Can I move the black pin while in the 3D Sphere mode? If not what do you suggest to improve (make more efficient) the process of making the sunrise determination over a certain mountain peak

Hi @Buckwheat - thanks for your post. Right now, the pins aren’t draggable in the 3D mode. The only way to move them is on the map - it’s generally easiest to use a good topographic map to find the relevant peak on the 2D map, set the pins, then explore in 3D.

I’d love to improve this in the future - I agree it would be a useful thing to add.
