None of the major US forecast models predicted any cloud in the Front Range area this morning - here’s HRRR (the darker gray is mountains, not cloud):
However, we woke up to some rare and very pretty broken cloud, which lit nicely at sunrise. Here’s the view a while later:
However, the models did get the medium level cloud at Monument Valley this morning:
