Ok this weekend is the Harvest Moon and Saturn is also supposed to be visible so I set up the moon rising over Cleveland on Sunday 27th and I also have Saturn’s location showing. In First Person view the Moon is always at 1x magnification as it should be to show actual size, but I noticed that if I change the magnification setting to 8x, the moon stays actual size as it should but the planet size is enlarged? Is this the way it’s supposed to work, shouldn’t the planets always be at actual size in First Person view like the Sun and Moon are? Below are 8x and 1x settings
Hi Ron – the planets are at artificially enlarged sizes right now, but I can have a think about how to render them at real size.
