First thought about the weather info, people can look to get an idea what it will be like, but if they entered a field of what they were after and where they are, the app could give them a notice when those conditions were right in their area
I have not dabbled with bracketing. Here we have a “mountain” that I have taken hundreds of pics of but at a distance it is hazey and often blue skies are more grey
Supposed to be an ok day tomorrow, will over exposure give a better chance of changing things later .
Sorry, I’m late seeing this. Nothing you do with the camera will fix the haze. Haze is just humidity and pollution suspended in the air. The farther away, the more haze between you and the subject. Lower humidity equals less haze, so your best bet is to shoot in winter, when the air is much, much drier and clearer.
Capture One and some other programs like Lightroom have De-haze functions that simply adjust the balance of colors in an area to make them look less blue/grey. It works to a limited degree, but because the haze has degraded the detail in the distance there’s nothing to be done to reconstruct that.
