We’re staying in the northeast of England at the moment to attend to some family matters, and are currently based out of Hexham. This was the view across the Tyne to the north this morning as we completed our morning walk through town and back:
The Northumberland Coast quite rightly attracts a lot of attention from photographers, but there’s so much to be seen inland also, particularly around the various rivers and valleys.
Quite uncharacteristically, the UK has been enjoying almost clear skies nearly all week, other than some early morning fog and low cloud (which was quite beautiful on Tuesday morning on the drive down to Durham at dawn to renew my passport):
