Planning for the March 2025 Lunar Eclipse

New video up today: I review three very different locations for the upcoming March 13-14 Total Lunar Eclipse, looking at a variety of planning scenarios and considerations using The Photographer’s Ephemeris web app.

If you know where to go, there’s a chance of capturing on camera the phenomenon known as a Selenelion: a totally eclipsed Moon visible AFTER sunrise!

And here’s a second video showing how to use the Cloud Observability and sightline tools in Photo WX to assess how cloud may or may not interfere with your planned shot!
