Just wondering what plans folks are making for the Total Lunar Eclipse in early March 2025. I am doing a presentation for one of my local parks in late February to improve awareness.
This Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible for almost the entire continental United States.
Hi @oscarphilips - yes, March will be a big month for eclipse chasers, both lunar and solar! I’m planning on doing a webinar early in March to cover both these events.
The Moon will be high in the sky near culmination for the eclipse on March 14th here in Colorado, so it will likely be a telephoto opportunity rather than a wide angle set up.
The near sunrise partial solar eclipse later in the month on the East coast will also offer some great possibilities if you’re able to get there!
