Tonight's waning gibbous Moon in Colorado

Some shots from tonight’s Moonrise with @alison - from the Flagstaff Rd lookout in Boulder, Colorado. Moonrise was four minutes before the standard time due to the elevation above the horizon (which you can adjust for in TPE - it doesn’t only affect the rising time, but also the azimuth, causing the Moon to rise slightly farther to the north.

Some struggles with frozen fingers, darkness, bad eyesight, crappy shutter release with a trigger happy ‘hold’ position. As a result, these shots needed some help with sharpening - I still need to work on my longer telephoto technique! But, only having had a 500mm lens for 4 months, I’ll forgive myself
