This maintenance update focuses on reliability, subscription handling, and a number of usability fixes.
Changes
- MAX features now require a MAX subscription. The introductory preview period for PRO subscribers has now ended. PRO subscribers retain their full PRO feature set unchanged.
Fixes & improvements
- Fixed shared links so they always open at the correct date and time, even if you have Always start at current date enabled.
- Improved reliability after purchasing or changing a subscription — map access and entitlements now update much more smoothly.
- Improved upgrade flow so the correct subscription plan is consistently pre-selected.
- Added more robust handling for rare browser graphics and elevation-data issues, preventing corrupted terrain or crashes.
- Improved map loading when previously selected map styles are no longer available on your current subscription.
- Fixed Light Pollution overlays disappearing when zooming in on Google Maps.
- Fixed an issue where the Milky Way overlay could display incorrectly in 3D First Person View.
- Signed-out users can once again drag the map pin as expected during the free exploration experience.
- Improved fallback behaviour when a previously selected MAX terrain source is no longer available.
- 3D quality settings now correctly reflect your current subscription tier.
- Visual Search results now open at a time that matches all of your active search filters.
