Visual Search is not searching from "Today" in Safari

I’m trying to use Visual Search in Safari Version 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8) under macOS Sequoia 15.5 (24F74). When I hold down ⌘ and click on Search, it produces results from 2020.

But when I do the same thing (and use the same search parameters etc) in Google Chrome Version 138.0.7204.49 (Official Build) (arm64), the results start from today (as expected).

This is also reflected in the URL when I download the Visual Search parameters. The Safari version has dt=2020-01-01T08:47:00-07:00, while the Chrome one has dt=2025-07-15T15:41:31-06:00

I also thought that this was previously working for me, but I don’t know when it stopped.
